So our flight went really well and I was back home around 8 pm. I plopped my bag down, kicked my socks off, and drank a ton of water because REHYDATION time now that I don't have to worry about dancing past 30 people on a plane to go pee in a closet. Life is wild out here in these parts, really rough you know? I should add that to the running list of First World Problems my brother and I have..
speaking of another one, I missed our water from home. Cali water tastes fine, but weird. I'm not a water expert and remember I burned my tongue yesterday on coffee so who knows but CA water is definitely different from OR water. Anyway, praise God for a VERY SUCCESSFUL trip and splendid weather and family that literally drives 2 hours to get you from the airport and gives you their AMTRAK tickets to use and their homegrown avocados and lends you their car to go to Palm Springs. They're the best, and the coolest.
Class at 9 am Tuesday, I love my math teacher and his sense of humour. He was actually in San Diego too for a math conference, random fact. Hit the gym after, weaker than a nacho chip because lack of food and sleep over the past weekend, no worries, still managed to squat and deadlift and arm work. I feel good about all the moves and weight I did, but wow managed to hurt my back deadlifting for not-the-first-time. Teach me how to deadlift, teach teach me how to deadlift (and how to Dougie, I'm not opposed). I got other stuff done and then had Drones In Emergency Management class at 4-7. I was not looking forward to 3 hours, just because my focus wanders after approx 50 mins generally.
BUT hey guess what we got to do a project type thing in class today! We used filter paper over real-screen printed maps of our local area, and drew out a "Disaster Scenario". with sharpies. So you draw where the Hazards are, Evacuation zones if needed, Rescue Entry if applicable, Block Off Points, Drone Station, etc. It was really fun, even more fun than coloring but that's what it looked like we were doing. Luckily nobody checks on us in that class, otherwise my professors might face criticism but while what we do in class looks weird or "non-traditional" we learn a lot!
After class, I head home, it's long been dark by this point. I prepare my stuff for work tomorrow, pack some beans and sweet potato because I'm the Most Original (I literally had rice + beans every day in Cali, but I'm not complaining bc I do love it. so I packed some veggies/potato instead of rice. lookit me being all wild and stuff). Shove my scraptop and charger cable and math notebook etc in my backpack. I'm wearing the same outfit to work, because again I lead a wild life. I normally then settle in and do homework until I either can't concentrate because I'm too tried or until I feel like I did a decent amount of hw, the former always happens first eh. But my brother is working on our routers, and there's no wifi. No big deal, except I HAVE A MATH EXAM to stufy for Thursday.

life goes on 🙃
