you know, I realized it's amazing that of the 60 sets of keys we have at work, I haven't lost or misplaced one of them. I almost walked home with the the truck keys in my pocket, twice, but discovered them before I left. Ah well it is that time of year, Finals Have Come 🍁💰🍞

Other than feeling guilty when I'm doing anything other than
1. sleeping
2. reading my bible

I feel grand about Fall Term ending, I've been waiting for this moment 10 weeks ago (yeah the term generally gets old 1 week in 😂)

Just kidding, I really like my math teacher & my school, but I like having time to make tea in the morning more.

I feel like satan always tries to convince me of my being "unproductive" the hardest when I'm actually loving & living life the greatest. It's just a week where I feel like this: 🙃🥔⭐️(yup, I'm "one of those Millennials" who uses emojis to express her feelings. Or I'm just too lazy to look up new words to expand my vocabulary for this blog post..also my brain is fried like my family's wifi routers... yeah, that happened too. DURING FINALS WEEK WHEN WE ALL NEEDED WIFI THE MOST. but 'tis fixed now).

Lots has been going on, mainly why I started my YouTube & this blog to track it all, but he comes with lies. What else is new, different year, same game, new lies.

But if you came for cool stuff, I got cool stuff. No lies here, only good things (& some mediocre things like study struggles but it's all Aviation related so = goodness)
AVIATION UPDATES:
• I still haven't heard back from San Diego on the scholarship, if I don't hear back Dec 2nd I'm calling them.
• I'm taking my Part 107 in about 2-3 weeks time, I want to take it before winter break though so I can relax during the holidays without worrying about my exam! my Drones In Emergency Mangenent class is ending in exactly 2 weeks so someone after I'm going in to test. I feel ready as I get almost everything correct on the online practice exams, but METAR & Lat Long distances is still shaky-ish.

• I met Tom (a Mission Pilot) this past Monday & we walked & talked along the river trail near my house. It was nice, he's a CFI too so I learned some thing from him & didn't feel so bad about should have been studying!

• I'm going on the 99s Christmas Cruise 🚢! An older friend of mine who owns her own RV bought my ticket so I could go as her dinner date, how could I say no to such an offer? It was so kind of her!!
• Also, 2 nights before the Sat of the 99s Cruise I have another scholarship event, a "gala". This is a separate scholarship from San Diego a smaller scholarship. But I'm excited, although I just realized that shoot, these 2 events will be taking time out of my Finals week for studying...
• Another really kind person - this time an older gentleman - at work offered me his plane & his time, free of charge. I got his number & will definitely take him up on that offer! This is a picture he sent me, either he or his daughter took it. (she got her PPL in 2 months time, but she had flown with him previously ever since she was about 8 he told me! Still, a very impressive time! :)

Back to just how work went today: I got a tip, and compliments on me doing my job well, I'm recording this because a couple weeks ago, I felt like I couldn't do anything right! Mainly with the huge jet truck feeling like it was driving me more than me driving it.
& fueled my first Bonanza as well as Grumman "Goose". Both are some pretty epic aircraft! Watching the Goose take off is just odd, but very cool too!

Also, the jokes are kept fresh....
Martin & Micheal were just at the counter watching me when as I struggled outside to fuel the Citation that came in. After I'd (eventually) finished, I came in pulling off my jacket cos I worked up heat wrestling with that thing: "you watching me dance with the hose?" I asked.
Micheal says "yeah..
looked like the hose won." Martin agrees with him.
I just said "that depends".
When M&M™ gang up they make a strong crew.
Micheal is my other boss by the way! Between his & Martin's jokes I don't catch a break, but I also don't get bored so I'm stoked about that! Here's some graffiti I saw on the picnic table while having lunch. I promise it's not mine, but I thought it was cool it was an A.
Maybe they meant it to be the Avengers logo...?

*hopes it's not some witchcraft symbol I'm putting on my blog*
as always, a GIF.
ft my inner me while I was grabbing that ladder for dear life with nobody around:
