NEW YEAR NEW TAILBONE

so unchrsitixlalt (was hoping autocorrect would fix that to "uncharacteristically", but it abandoned me that time) of Portland, we got ice/snow for Christmas! I think I must have been a bad kid because I always prayed for a white Christmas but it only happened once. Now with our weather last year and this week, I'm thinking my siblings are better kids than I take them to be. My youngest sibling says "I prayed for more..." 😂

Christmas was really nice, even though we mainly did get ice and sleet, it's still all white and pretty! Over the past week I went caroling, went to a resort in the high desert with my youth choir and friends, studied, slept  about 4 hrs a night, & 

I'm here at work today, made it perfectly fine except for the parking lot at the airport is a huge skating rink because it doesn't get as much traffic as the main roads! Today was the day, a sad day, I took down all the Christmas/holiday decorations. My favorite were the 2 mini “trees” I decorated: 

But I didn’t touch the Leg, because it’s kind of Martin’s christmas/gag decoration. Rumor has it that it’s been here making a Christmas appearance for the past 15 years:

So I was alone today, because Micheal is on a cruise with his wife. It really was pretty nice working alone, with just Martin giving 2 people a test today. Really calm!

I vacuumed a lot, wiped things. Got exactly 2 (3..?) phone calls today, 1 of which was a fuel call but the airport was closed today. I came to work just because idk I need the money so hey why not. 

I'm studying, really quiet day. 

I took a break and finally played some guitar! How you ask? Well legend goes former CFIs always are leaving things at the airport when they leave, some leave books, some leave clothing items, one left his guitar! A beautiful old Taylor :) I played for about 40 mins while nobody came in the airport and Martin ran to Costco™️. I barely even had to tune it believe me or not, it sounded great. 

Oh, and here’s Martin's Latest™: 

him "we might not get more ice or snow but we'll get snew..." *looks at me expectantly*

me "..that's sleet and snow..or maybe ice and sleet..? *tries to think if "snew" is an aviation term I should know*

him "ok just ask me what it is" *impatient*

me "what's snew?"

him "not much, what's snew with you?"

I groaned really loud and laughed in pain "ahhaha, that’s so bad but so good." He just smiles proudly, remind me of the way our cat Peaches smiles or kind of like Tom at Jerry! 😂 

I also took a quick break to go skate outside, it's great fun. I’ve fallen 3 times on the ice so far, 2 were at home in our driveway actually, 1 was at work today. 😂

Anyways, Happy New Year!!!! What are your goals for this year?
